Pope Francis Approves Miracle Attributed to Intercession of Pauline Jaricot On May 27, 2020 it was announced that the Holy Father has approved a decree affirming the veracity of a miracle attributed to the intercession of Pauline Marie Jaricot, founder of the Society for the Propagation of the Faith. Among the many reasons to give thanks, the Church now indicates that Blessed Pauline Jaricot, as she will be known, is someone to whom prayers can be directed seeking her intercession.

On May 2, 2022, the Pontifical Mission Society for the Propagation of the Faith celebrated two significant milestones.  It will mark the 200th anniversary of its foundress as the Association of the Propagation of the Faith and the 100th anniversary of its Pontifical status.
